On May 1st, 2007, my website got a huge surge of traffic relating to a post about the HD-DVD and Digg fiasco.  You know, the one with that fancy hexadecimal key and lots of cease and desist letters :)

Kudos to my web host for surviving the onslaught, 50757 173234 hits and 7.51 GB later (over 4 hours total).

In fact, my page never did so much as time out, while digg.com went under more than once. . .

Not bad for $6.45 a month :)
